Subject: Re: List and colour card for P76 and Marinas Date: Sun, 23 Mar 2003 22:18:29 Dear P76 and Marina owners, Thought you might like to know that I have finished my little project on replicating all the engine bay and badge decal stickers for the P76. The stickers are made from the same material as original and are printed with UV resistant inks. There were originally 18 factory colours. These are Am Eye Blue, Bold As Brass, Peel Me A Grape, NV Green, Spanish Olive, Aspen Green, Corinthian Blue, Oh Fudge, Bitter Apricot, Crystal White, Nutmeg Brown, Omega Navy, Home on Th' Orange, Plum loco, Dry Red, Country Cream, Hairy Lime and Black. Black was most likely a special factory order but I thought it should be included in the set. The source used for this project was an original Berger paints colour code book I tracked down and now have in my possession. Berger paints went out of business years ago and I'll tell it was hard to track one down but now all the actual original paint codes have been replicated right next to their respective colours. Incidentally, if anyone has a car that's not one of the colours mentioned above and the paint sticker is still legible then you have yourself a special factory order. Something very rare! They can be ordered through the NSW P76 Owners club for $20.00 a set plus postage. This includes the actual paint sticker of your choice. For orders you can call Brian Hooper (Club President) on 02 9863 8644 or 0422 117 422 preferably evenings. Or Gordon Crowther (Treasurer) on 02 9872 4916 evenings also. They will also be available at the up and coming Canberra meeting. TasNick from Tasmania has had made a new set of decals. Please contact Nick or through the Leyland clubs
