Reversing light problem

Try the earth wires at the left rear indicator.
If the wires are loose, the power from the reverse light will flow through the indicator circuit as you describe.
This is a common problem, and should be checked every so often.
The wires are black and are screwed to the body by the lamp retaining philips head screws.
