		| Leyland P76 Owners 2006 | Technical problem | | Maintain a good fuse box by Jilden
Many P76's have been stopped when the fuse box has dropped out a fuse or two, due to loose lugs. Two things are useful to do to maintain a good fuse box-.A rubber 0-ring placed around the two clips holding the fuse will help with contact.A standard rubber band can be used in an emergency, but won't last more than a few weeks. If you invert the fusebox, a sharp screwdriver can be used to lift up the brass lugs which hold the fuse clips into the box. This stops them sliding out by themselves.Remember always to look for fuses with ceramic bodies and brass fuse strips, so that no corrosion and melting of plastic fuse bodies can occur.Narva make ceramic and brass fuses exactly like this, and I have found them to be reliable.
